Wildlife Monitoring

Monitoring wildlife is crucial to prioritizing high risk areas for stretched patrol staff tasked with stopping poaching in Thailand’s forests.

With support from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, FREELAND is monitoring wildlife in a number of Thailand's key protected areas and developing the capacity of park rangers to collect and analyze wildlife and poaching violation data necessary to guide more effective park management strategies.

Donate online today to buy a camera trap for our monitoring projects or a backpack and GPS for a patrolling park ranger.
