Five things you can do today:

Be an informed consumer by finding out where products come from and the conditions of those who make them before you buy. Choose products that adhere to fair trade principles and support vulnerable communities. Don't buy products you suspect are made in sweatshops or by child labor. Don't support businesses known to exploit people.

Keep your eyes and ears open for evidence of human trafficking or enslavement. Warning signs.

For cases in (or connected to) Thailand, tell us about any evidence of human trafficking or enslavement you see or hear about. Do not attempt to gather evidence if it involves any risk to your safety. Contact us and we will act.

For other cases, contact trusted local police or anti-trafficking organizations (some of which also provide care and advocate for victims). Refer to MTV Exit's directory of hotline numbers.
